Mike Beard, director of Naming Elephants, approached me in 2010 with the wish for me to translate and distill what they do into visuals and words. In a process of conversation and iteration with him and his team at Naming Elephants, I developed together with them different output: Naming Elephants Tag LinesInstead of only one tagline, we developed 15 tag lines which express the variety and flavour of what Naming Elephants does. They appear in turns on the web page and are printed on their business/post cards. Participants receive their puzzle piece and have to complete the elephant in an exercise which called ‘Can you name your elephant?’. Because there are things in us and our lives which are of utmost importance (the elephant) but may not be immediately obvious to us or others.
