Beau Lotto asked me to draw and design in process in order to distill the content and thoughts of the ‘conversation phase’ of My School, a school programme he was creating with Dave Strudwick. My School takes a holistic approach to learning, incorporating neuro science, the body and positive psychology. They had conversations with inspiring and inspired people such as Stephen Gage at the Bartlett, Wayne McGregor at the Random Dance Company and Jason Bruges at Bruges Studio and I drew and took note and distilled the content for and with them. The ‘drawing in process’ worked by me drawing and taking note in my notebook, distilling the pages to summaries, quotes and images which we then discussed and continuously developed into output such as ‘process cards’, a ‘repository web page’, an ‘ambiguous library’ and illustration and documentation of results for print, communication and as input for following project phases. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
